My Ex-Husband Went Crazy with Regret After I Remarried

Chapter 1
Five years of marriage, and suddenly a video of my wedding night with John Miller was leaked online.
He walked into our house with another woman.
“The little girl likes drama, let her have it. You’re an old woman now anyway, nobody cares about that old video.”
“The little girl’s pregnant and wants a name, we’ll file for divorce. You can come back after the baby’s born.”
John tossed the divorce papers in front of me before I could react.
I signed without a word, his friends laughing around us.
They’d bet I wouldn’t last a month without him, that I’d come crawling back.
They were wrong.
My arranged marriage, the wedding venue all set, just waiting for my nod.

The sounds of my wedding night video blasted from John’s friends’ phones.
They looked me up and down with smirks.
“Wow, Mrs. Miller, nice figure! Didn’t know you were a 36D, just a little less than Sarah, but still got it!”
“John’s quite the player, first you, then the college sweetheart. Impressive!”
“But he’s still head over heels for Sarah. That video was five years old, and he leaked it just to please her.”
Their taunts made me squirm, my face burning.
John held Sarah close, never giving me a glance.
“The little girl’s just being difficult. Don’t worry about it, nobody’s going to pay attention to you now.”
“Sarah’s pregnant and can’t handle the stress. You move out for a while, until after the baby’s born.”
My hand hovered over the signature line.
Two minutes later, John’s face hardened.
“Just sign it. This is just a game, you’ll be Mrs. Miller again soon enough.”
“Susan, don’t be difficult.”
His friends chuckled.
“John, don’t be so harsh. She’s been a housewife for five years, she probably can’t survive a day without you!”
“Yeah, she gets a million bucks for sleeping with you twice a month, if I were a woman I’d cling to you too!”
Their mockery stabbed me.
I signed.
“Wow, Mrs. Miller, you’re a strong one! You can take it.”
Ignoring them, I turned to leave.
Sarah blocked my path.
“Susan, don’t be mad. John said I’m just filling in for a few months, you’re still Mrs. Miller.”
“I’m pregnant and can’t handle the stress, seeing you might upset me. John still cares about you.”
She rubbed her chest against me.
I shoved her away, feeling sick.
She fell, screaming in pain.
“Susan, why did you push me? I was just explaining.”
“My stomach hurts so bad…”
John rushed over, shielding her, his eyes blazing.
“Don’t move out yet, until Sarah’s out of danger.”
Ignoring the laughter, I nodded.
Even if I didn’t want to, I couldn’t leave without his permission.
Sarah wasn’t his first.
But she was special.
I’d considered leaving when she first showed up.
But the maids reported me, and I ended up kneeling in the snow all night.
A thick chain around my neck.
I was worse than a stray dog.
John ignored me, carrying Sarah upstairs, his friends calling a doctor.
I was left alone.
I texted the number without a contact name.
“The wedding might be delayed a few days. Is that alright?”
The reply was instant.
“No problem, I’ll wait however long, as long as it’s you.”
My phone was snatched.
John’s furious eyes met mine.
“Who are you texting?”
I shook my head.
“Nothing, just spam.”
He grabbed my neck, dragging me upstairs.
My knees scraped on the steps, blood trailing behind me.
He let go at the bedroom door.
His voice was emotionless.
“You’ll kneel here until Sarah wakes up.”
“You leave when she does.”
He slammed the door. I heard his friends betting.
They were betting I wouldn’t last a month without him.
I clenched my fists.
I had loved John.
I’d defied my family for him.
But that love had died with each of his infidelities.
Sarah woke soon, just scared, the doctor said.
His friends left.
Sarah must have talked to John. He seemed moved, helped me up, and brought me back to the bedroom.
He didn’t rush me to pack, but offered hot milk.
“Drink this, the maid said you didn’t eat today.”
I was suspicious.
“No thanks, I don’t like milk.”
His face darkened, he slammed the cup down.
“Susan, don’t test me, you know the consequences.”
“Drink it, or I will force you.”
I drank the milk.
I felt drowsy but aware.
Sarah emerged from the bathroom, smirking.
“I thought John would be softer on you. You promised to get revenge for me.”
“Nobody saw the last video, it doesn’t count! Let’s play a more exciting game!”
John pulled her onto his lap, nuzzling her.
“Alright, Sarah, whatever you say. Whatever you want.”
She kissed him, then smirked.
“Really? Don’t go back on your word!”
“Or the baby won’t like you!”
He couldn’t resist, throwing her on the bed.
Their moans were loud, going on for three hours.
John glared at Sarah as she dressed.
She threw her coat at him.
“Let’s take Susan, I’ve made the arrangements.”
“This video will be huge!”
They dragged me to a club while I was still out.
Guests recognized me.
“Isn’t she from that video? Oh, she’s here to find some fun?”
“She looks older than in the video, but good body. Cover her face and she’s hot.”
“How much for a session? Give us a friend’s price, we’ll let you film, just use a filter.”
Before John could speak, Sarah said.
“Everyone here gets a turn, it’s free, you know the rules, don’t worry, we won’t show your faces.”
“Don’t hurt my sister, she’s weak, be gentle.”
They swarmed the room.
Taking pictures, taking drugs.
John frowned.
“Isn’t this a bit much?”
Sarah adjusted the camera.
“John, you promised, she pushed me, you regret it?”
“I just wanted to teach her a lesson. What if she hurts the baby? Don’t you want our baby to be safe?”
John’s guilt vanished.
He watched with her.
“Sarah’s right, she’s my little queen, whatever she wants.”
I collapsed on the sofa.
The sounds around me were deafening.
Rage boiled inside me, but I was powerless.
The camera flashed, they swarmed me.
The pain was dull because of the drugs.
But I cried.
I didn’t understand why John did this.
Does loving someone mean you deserve this?
Nobody answered.
Blood stained the floor, unseen in the dim light.
My consciousness faded.
I heard Sarah’s voice:
“Don’t worry, John, this drug is all the rage online, she won’t remember anything.”
I woke up in a sterile white room – a hospital.
A nurse changed my dressing roughly.
I winced.
“Stop faking, all you women are the same.”
“Homewreckers, you deserve it!”
The needle went in and out, until my hand was raw.
Then the drugs kicked in.
Remembering what happened, I cried.
Sarah lied.
The drug didn’t erase my memory.
Seeing the bruises, my heart ached.
I called the number.
“If I’m… hurt, will you still marry me?”
He paused, understanding instantly.
“Leave it to me, just get ready for the wedding.”
“I’ll get revenge for you.”
The call ended.
I saw John’s messages, an hour after I was admitted.
“2 PM, meet at the courthouse, don’t be late.”
He’d lost patience, bombarding me with messages.
“What’s the meaning of this? Regret it? You signed the papers!”
“You have one day, finalize the divorce.”
“Listen, Sarah is just a fling, the little girl wants it, it’s a game.”
But his game destroyed me.
John pulled some strings, skipping the cooling-off period.
I replied “Okay.”
I saw the video online had been replaced.
The club video.
The dim setting was even more captivating than our bedroom.
Sarah kept her word, tagging it “Hot Guys.”
It had ten million views in five hours.
The comments were brutal.
Sarah posted my hospital address.
Fans were coming, live-streaming.
I checked out.
Doctors covered their noses.
The nurse threw the papers at me.
“Get out, you’re disgusting, even streetwalkers don’t belong here.”
“Stay away from the hospital, you’re wasting resources!”
I didn’t bother explaining.
I went to the courthouse.
John was alone.
He frowned.
“Who are you giving that face to?”
I showed him the video.
“You need to explain this.”
He thought I’d forgotten.
“It’s just a little girl playing with AI, you don’t think that’s you, do you?”
“Susan, you fell off the bed last night, I took you to the hospital, you could have broken a bone. Don’t be crazy.”
Tears streamed down my face.
“AI? Are you kidding me? Who cares how it’s made? You’re playing a game, but you dragged me down with you!”
I was furious, he turned grim.
“Susan, I told you, it was a game, don’t make a fuss!”
“Sarah is young, pregnant, can’t you be a little understanding? This went too far, I’ll talk to her, let’s just finish the divorce.”
He paused, seeing me still standing there.
“What’s the meaning of this? Second thoughts? Are you here to make trouble?”
I got the divorce papers.
John was on the phone, busy.
I saw Sarah waiting.
She sneered.
“Susan, you really believe in AI? I filmed that video last night.”
“John watched you get gang-banged, he bought the handcuffs and rabbit ears, did you like it?”
“I was sitting on his lap when I posted the video, he didn’t say a word, he’ll do anything for my happiness.”
I turned to leave, she grabbed my wrist.
“Don’t go, don’t you want to know how your first child died?”
My blood ran cold.
“I was with John a year ago, I just wanted to test the drug, he made you drink it, that baby is buried in the backyard. He lied, saying it’s at the cemetery, the cemetery plot holds his cat.”
For a year, his lover was only her.
Rage surged, I grabbed her neck.
She glanced behind her, pulling me into the street.
I fell, cars whizzing past.
John appeared, holding Sarah.
“Sarah, are you alright?”
He saw me.
He pulled me up.
“Susan, you went too far.”
He left with Sarah.
An hour later, Sarah was checked.
He texted me.
“You’re not well, stay in the hospital, I’ll pay.”
“Susan, don’t make a fuss, she’s just a little bird, just calm her down.”
I was on a train to another city.
I deleted his number.
John Miller was in my past.
I never wanted to see him again.
