How I Met Your Murderer (ExorSquad)

A haunted Irish castle, a murder that refuses to stay buried, and an unexpected romance set the stage for How I Met Your Murderer by Sarah Glenn Marsh, a paranormal MM romantic comedy in the ExorSquad series. Rafferty O’Meara once had a promising future as a hurling star, but a career-ending injury has sent his life in a different direction. Now working for ExorSquad, a notoriously unreliable ghost-removal service, Raff is called to Ardruin Castle in West Kerry, Ireland. The castle’s new owners are racing to prepare the historic property for a Halloween-season opening, but a troublesome haunting threatens their plans. Among the castle’s supernatural residents is Eric James Crawford, an American tourist who has become a ghost. As Raff and Eric work together to understand the haunting and manage the castle’s many spirits, their growing connection complicates Raff’s professional mission. Eric’s death is also surrounded by unanswered questions, and a more sinister presence may be connected to what happened to him. The novel combines a paranormal investigation with romantic tension, dark humor, supernatural mishaps, and the atmosphere of a centuries-old Irish castle. Its central themes include connection, trust, belonging, and the possibility of finding love in circumstances neither character could have anticipated. Readers can expect a relationship-driven mystery with ghostly complications, eccentric characters, and a blend of suspense and comedy. The story is particularly suited to adult readers who enjoy MM romance, paranormal rom-coms, haunted settings, and mysteries woven into a developing love story. As part of the multi-author ExorSquad series, the book features the franchise’s distinctive mix of questionable ghost-busting work and supernatural chaos while focusing on Raff and Eric’s own story.
